生产技术是一种什么样的工作？

简言之，生产技术就是“将设计与制造联系在一起的工作”。例如假设要制造纸杯。设计人员的作用是决定杯子的形状、材质和尺寸。另一方面，生产技术的作用则则是考虑和实现诸如如何将纸材料弯曲成带有锥度的筒状、如何将纸边缘部位弄圆等“如何制作”的问题，当然设计人员也会边考虑制造方法边进行设计。但是生产技术要从设计人员的构思出发进一步深入下去，思考在量产中实现设计构思的的方法。
